Links to be Thankful for

Isn’t it quiet out there? It seems when USA goes into Turkey-eating mode the rest of us take the day off :)

Here are some useful links for the rest of us:

Finally, if you are in an office you might want to turn the volume down, but seeing as this is a New Media blog I couldn’t pass this up :)

    Thanks for these Chris. It’s not Thanksgiving here in Canada, but I’m taking a snow day after the first winter storm of the year. Nice to spend the day exploring some links while the white stuff drifts down outside.

    Thanks Chris, for the link. Appreciate it.

    Have a good turkey-eating time! :)

    Great video Chris. Happy Thanksgiving from the US.

    I notice that Gizillionaire was used in one of your links to be Thankful For. What is up with the desire to use outrageous numbers. That usually turns me off. I am more likely to click on something that says earn an extra $50 dollars a days spending 20 minutes than “Earn $1500/month spending 20 minutes a day from home.” I like breaking things down simply. I was also wandering if NEW MEDIA is only able to reach and capatalize on the efforts of bloggers. The video illustrates that NEW MEDIA is only aimed at specific groups. How do you extend your reach?

    Hi Chris!
    Great idea to make this list. I updated my Thanksgiving post, and point my readers here. :-)
    Happy Thanksgiving.

    @heather - Ah snow days. In the UK I can’t remember our last one. As a kid we used to get enough snow to make igloos, I don’t think we have had more than a few inches where I live in the 8 years since my daughter has been born

    @Sant Qiu - No worries, great content :) Same to you

    @mark - And yourself :)

    @George - I need to do a post on my definition of new media I think, as it does extend past blogging :)

    @John - Thanks :)

    Good idea, Chris, I’d be mightily interested to read a post about how you define “new media” these days. And thanks for the YouTube treat! ;)

    So, I’m new to blogging and everything else you defined as new media for the most part. I’m all over the place subscribing to blogs, reading, learning, etc.

    Thanks much Chris for keeping your blog seasoned with lightheartedness and humor it takes the edge off feeling completely overwhelmed in this “new media”. I thought the video was great (all your other stuff too :D )

    Also, for your info this is the very first blog I have ever commented on (if you have a bell ring it). I guess you’ve made me feel welcome.

    Keep up the good wrk.
