Excellent report, Chris! I especially liked your 10 key ways to promote flagship content! I would love to share your report, and have a “free downloads” section on my blog… may I include your report there? (Complete with your link at the end, of course.)

In any case, thanks for the wonderful resource!

I downloaded this via the feeds last week and it’s a really good read. More people should know such things, as everyday more and more people are putting focusing on making their sites look fancier instead of making their content better.

Thanks for making this available for everyone Chris. :)

I read the comments above about missing the download link.
I subscribed via RSS and think I found a small point of confusion. In my RSS feed there is a link at the top (after you expand the feed item) with a link to the ebook that has the url http://www.chrisg.com/killer-flagship-content-free-ebook-to-download/ — This is not the ebook link.

This is the link for this page. You have to scroll down to the bottom to find the link with the .pdf url to download.

I was fresh awake after a nap this afternoon, and had to go back and forth on this about 5 times before I figured it out. :)

Hope that might help those that follow!

Hey Chris – I have been using your Feedvertising idea to help promote a contest I have been running lately. But I found that people using My Yahoo and Firefox Live Bookmarks can’t get to those links, because they only get headlines, no post content.

Have you come across this, and if so, have you found a workaround? :) Thanks!

Some people have told me they couldn’t see the link but I just assumed it was glitches and not down to their reader – I will ask in future what they are using. Thanks for the tip off :)

    Hi Chris,

I just received your first e-mail and thought I’d let you know that the download link is somewhat hard to see if you “Read all messages in plain text” as I tend to do for security reasons… But I have downloaded it now, thanks! :-)
