Where To Find Images For Your Blog

Andrew Ferguson has posted up a great post on where to find Great Free Photos for Your Blog

Knowing where to look is just as important as what you find. I know most people’s first instinct is “Google Images!” Ignore that instinct. Google Images is useful for some things, but not really for this. There’s too much of a legal quagmire regarding usage rights and let’s be honest, the photos you find are pretty lame.

I know my posts would benefit from more images (or any images!). Good advice to follow.

    Hey I had a post about this the other day too. I really have found iStockPhoto to be a pleasure to work with and their images are top notch.

    @Mark & @Mark, thanks for the links :)

    @Avinash & @Broc, yup not just new people, I have been blogging for ages but need reminding every now and then that I should include images :) I focus so much on what I need to *say* I never think to *show* - I need to fix that

    This is greatly needed. I can now find images I want to use on my blog. Pictures liven up websites so much compared to block of text. Thanks for the insight Chris.
