Even if the popularity of this book wanes, it’s the universal ideas in the book that will live on. The best books capture these universal ideas.

Me? I find myself drawn to photo journalism that makes a difference. Thought provoking content.

And I know I have made a difference if my kids grow up to be caring people, “global” people. Not self centered jerks.

The best legacy that I can hope for lies with my two children. It would be nice to contribute something else to humanity, even small things, but my kids are clearly the best chance.

I am hoping the legacy I leave behind would be millions of successful businesses that were able to grow because of the help I was able to give them. (sounds kinda conceited, I know!)

In addition, I hope to leave a legacy of all of the other stuff… massive charity donations, impact by volunteering in other countries, giving, friendship, family, ect ect.

My legacy so far is that I have effected positively some people for good (helped people sort out their stuff).

I hope my blog – and the membership site I will do – will help lots more people do this.

This will be my legacy.

I don’t know if I have plans for a legacy with the Internet for there’s too many layers out there in cyberspace to leave anything behind.

But off-line, I do have a goal to leave something for future generations.

Chris, my vision (ahem) for my blogging efforts today is to affect the world for good 50 years from now and beyond. I really believe I can do that with these simple online tools, and that’s how I approach my daily work with them.

Money is fleeting. Influence does not have to be.

Legacy…that is a hard one. Today with so many people that have such easy access to the internet and all that encompanses, it is hard to stand out enough to leave a legacy, at least electronically.

My thought is that if you leave a legacy it is only by helping other people. Your name will probably get lost along the way but I’m not sure that really matters. We all build on each other. Hopefully for the best.
