New WordPress Plugins to Try

Here are two new plugins that you might like to try out.

First up is WP_DeliciousPost from my friend Damian

WP_DeliciousPost is a free WordPress plug-in that auto submits your post and pages to Delicious as you publish them.

Submitting your post to Delicious makes it easier for Delicious users to find under the appropriate tags, plus some blog advertising/ranking and valuation services count the number of Delicious entries into their scores so the more times you appear the better.

The second is from another blogging friend, Mark from Search-This Comment Info Tip

When you mouseover a commenter’s name you will see a tip appear displaying some information about that given commenter. legend

Try them out and let me know what you think :)

Love the Comment Info Tip plugin. Got that running now.

I’ve installed the other one as well - it will come in handy as a related posts plugin I use in Windows Live Writer checks del.icio.us tags to find related posts. Will check it works once I’ve written another post.

Browsed round your posts to check out the Comment Info Tips, it’s pretty cool. I might set it up on my own blog in the near future :D

the Delicious plug in is a great idea. Two questions if I may:
    a. is there a similar plugin for TypePad?
    b. is there any way to migrate an entire Typepad blog to WordPress?

Chris, thanks for plugging my plugin. I’ve had the comment info tip plugin installed for about a week now and I really like it. I find myself visiting my commentators blogs more. It’s also nice to see how many total comments a given user has logged.

Looks like a no brainer - I will install and let you know of any problems.

    Thanks for the advise

Found a problem with the Comment info tip on my blog - it stops the recent comments widget from wrapping so screws up the page alignment.

Anyone lese get this? Left a comment over at the developers site.
