Get Tons of Comments? Check Out this WordPress Bulk Reply Plugin

I get lots of comments. As you will have seen I try to answer every single one. This can take some time, particularly when I go away and come back to several days worth.

My good friend Damian, my new WordPress-plugin wizz, has come to the rescue with his new plugin – WP_EasyReply

What it does it do? He has developed a fiendishly clever solution. Under the comment box appears a “Reply New” link. Hitting that link fills your comment box with the names and quoted comments of all the comments since your last reply (or the beginning). This allows you to read and comment all within the text box, halving the time (at least) it takes to reply and removing the need to copy and paste quotes.

Believe me once Damian got this baby working it saved me a lot of time catching up.

You can download WP_EasyReply for free from Damians site.

  1. Neat, I’ll give it a shot, even though my comment level isn’t quite in need of it yet.

  11. Just how messy does it get when you have heaps on un-replied comments???

It sounds like a great idea though. Comments and replying to them needs to be better managed on WordPress

    Not that messy i think.
IF you have any suggestions to how to improve it they will be greatly received.

  15. It’s an interesting idea for a plugin.

I’m finding it time-consuming responding individually to every comment I receive, but I don’t want to make anyone feel like I don’t value their input.

    I’ll give it a shot.
