Free Business Blogging Ebook
Michael at Remarkablogger has just announced he is offering a free ebook to subscribers (wonder where he got that idea from, heh). You can get it just by signing up via email or RSS.
The ebook covers …
A 12-step process for starting a business blog packed with vital and actionable information
In all there are 82 pages of information to help a business consider or start a new blog, from understanding what blogging is to drafting a comment policy.
Well worth checking out, nice work Michael!

I’ve just downloaded this myself, as a workbook it’s great taking you through exercises at the end of each chapter - from the basics of What is a blog and would you want one right through to a commenting policy and crisis management. I’ve posted about it myself today as well!
He used your technique of giving away a free ebook for a subscription to his blog. Nice idea…
I look forward to checking out the book.
Thanks for the “heads up” Chris.
I’m looking forward to reviewing Michael’s book. He’s a smart cookie so it’ll probably be a great resource.
Seems like everyone and their horse is coming out with an eBook. This one however, seems better than most. Tons of information.
Chris, thanks for the mention! Yes indeed, you and several other bloggers have set a wonderful example. I’m a big fan of knowing what works, what are the “best practices” that give the best results. Giving away free, useful content in exchange for a subscription is a win-win approach anyone can benefit from. I only steal from the best!
Your idea worked on me. I also enjoyed reading your Killer Flagship Content e-book.
Let’s see if Michael will have the same success with this Free ebook RSS subscription
Neat. Thanks for the info. I look forward to checking it out. Wonder where he got the idea to do that? Hmmmm. Maybe I should try it to see if I can’t get a few more clients.
seems like every one is coming with an free ebook….hmm any new ideas guys???
@Full-Time-Blogger - I like that he made it a workbook too
@George - Even if it doesn’t teach YOU much it is nice to point people to when they have a need
@Mark - It’s a good resource
@Gary - Free resources are a good way to get buzz, provided you put in the effort to make it good
@Michael - True artists steal
Really I wish more people would do this
@Daniel - I do hope it works out
@Pensacola - It’s worth a try. For gaining clients, put something at the end that says “if you would like to discuss these ideas/tips/concepts further …”
@samrat - The tactic isn’t new but no reason why it shouldn’t work
