I am not a blind follower, but at my age I realize that the trail blazers have good advice to offer. The important thing is to sift through it and find out what really can apply to one's own life and circumstances. I may not try to reinvent the wheel, but I might try to add some spokes or smooth out the surface a bit! Great post, Chris. I think it is good to put yourself into everything you do. However, I can say from experience that when you do follow a system that someone else has used successfully it can lead to quicker success. If you decide to only follow half of the system, it often leads to failure and/or more struggling. That has been my experience. Excellent post. I've had many people say that I've opened up paths to new thoughts - their own thoughts - by not only giving them my suggestions based on strong experience but by providing thought-provoking content that helps them see their lives in a new light.
