Dot Com Dud,

Twitter won't "click" unless it fits in line with your overall blog strategy.

I notice from your "About" page, that you have quick your job so that you can focus on making money from your blog.

1 - Your goal is to make money from your blog.

2 - Your strategy is about how you accomplish your goal. "My blog will be the "go-to" source of reliable information on how to start a blogging business. With this strategy as my "compass", visitors will become subscribers, subscribers will become customers, and customers will become raving fans and resellers."

3 - Tactics are the specific, project-focused activities that cascade down from your strategy. "To develop my subscriber base, I will create partnerships with other bloggers."

4 - Your tools are what you will use to manifest your strategy on this tactical level. "With Twitter (one tool within a toolbox), I will find and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with other internet marketers."

Without a strategy (which is the glue between your tactics and your goal), you will end up going from tool-to-tool (Twitter, then LinkedIn, then Squidoo, then Stumbleupon).

Hope this helps,

John

P.S. I strongly urge you to take a close look at Chris Garrett's "Authority Blogger" course, which is all about creating a successful blog business (see banner on right).

Sounds good, Twitter hasn't really clicked for me so far, so hopefully this helps me figure out what all the fuss is about.

Okay, Apologies.
My eye was fooled by the big "CLICK HERE" graphic on the right while missing the little 'click here' graphic for the download...ADD sucks sometimes!

Thank you for making this available...I haven't had time to get to know about Twitter and this will get me going!

They're just starting to get into the whole social media thing and have been asking me about Twitter, so this should be a real help to them. thanks again!!

Okay, what's the joke? I click on the link, sign up, receive a link to download, which takes me back to the link to sign up.

Are you trying to see how many hamsters you can get on the wheel at the same time?

Very disappointing.
