Design Matters: Logos 01 Review

If you are interested in logo design this is the book for you. Really, there isn’t much more to say.

It’s a beautiful book, the kind of book that is nice to just leave lying around and flick through. The print is lovely, every page is colourful and sharp. It’s interesting and informative too, not just a pretty face.

The book is from Capsule, a brand agency in the USA. You can tell these aren’t people who just talk about this stuff but actually do it. I imagine as well as educating and informing, this book will lead to lots of work and client wins.

I’m not a designer but I do commission designs. Reading the book, and especially looking through the logo gallery at the back, gives me a lot more ammunition for going into my next project. This book has taught me more about logos than 10 years working for marketing agencies.
