Amusing post…just what I needed this morning. well not the butt kicking. That is not my problem today – somedays, but…not today. It is amazing how much time this blogging career sucks up without you noticing! And it feels like I am not getting much done!

If you can’t find anyone who will agree to be your butt-kicker, try a “virtual butt-kicker”.

A virtual butt-kicker could be a promise you make or a challenge you set for yourself publicly. If you’re a regular member of a forum, you could post a challenge there, like a certain goal you want to have achieved by a certain date.

The brave might want to up the ante by setting a “punishment” for themselves if they don’t make it. The punishment should of course be something “public” for maximum effect. Putting some cash on the line also works for some people.

Yes! I totally agree! If not because of my partner and my good friends who not just kick me in the butt, but also slap me on the face so many times, I won’t be where I’m right now.

So, I’d like to thanks Aneesa, Jeremy Lee and Ernie Chen who are my inspiration and my mentors.

I think the hard thing is finding a ‘good’ butt-kicker. Someone who kicks your butt but doesn’t know anything about blogs or running a web site isn’t usually helpful and sometimes are just time wasters.

Thanks, Chris and everyone. Being all about energy, I tend to wait for the action to arise from its own source, BUT, sometimes the block needs to be bulldozed through and THAT creates a momentum and a motivation that is YEAH! WOW! Look what i did. Next?
