About the Blog Critiques Plan

Thanks to all the people who asked for a critique. I got over 30 requests, the offer is closed for the time being - I have more than enough to keep me busy during my two week vacation! Please no more requests until I announce another round.

Here is how it is going to work.

I am not going to criticise, mark, rank or score your blogs. There are so many to do and so little time (I will be on vacation after all) these will not be in the sort of depth that I would ordinarily do for clients. I will visit, read a bit, then give you my initial impressions and some ideas for what you might do.

While I am expecting there will be some repetition of advice we will all benefit from some tips that are generated. When I get back I will do a summary of some of the things we have learned.

Please excuse me if my replies to comments are a little delayed, I am not sure I will always have internet access.

Now I have to go brief our cat-sitters before we drive to the airport!

Let me get this straight. You solicited for blogs to review, for free (damn I’m pissed I missed this). Not only that, you are going to write them during your vacation? Your wife be very understanding :)

Lol Steve James. My wife would throw a huge fit, but Chris runs his blog like a business so I’m sure she is understanding:) I hope so too, as I am one of the lucky ones that got to be in the 30 sites that are being reviewed.

Chris, I know it is difficult to critique blogs written in other languages, but do you have any plans to include some blogs in spanish in your critique plan (maybe you already know spanish).

    Hope you can…

Unfortunately I don’t know any spanish, sorry!

I wish I could add you as number 31 but there are about 20 people who would fight you for it ;)
