I have seen several bloggers do this and have thought about it myself. In theory it should also lead to more link love.
I am certainly interested in what other people are going to say about adopting the creative commons (or similar) license on their blogs.

Hi chris,
Can you help me understand, if without CC on my blog, what does that mean?
I am still sharing ideas by letting everyone read my blog, so how is having CC share my ideas? Thanks.
Confused..

It doesn’t change your blog but it allows it to be discovered by CC searches, and it displays clearly what rights are allowed so there is no uncertainty.
